Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Ozma uses cookies and similar technologies on ozma.app and related web properties. See also our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Local storage and session storage are similar browser mechanisms. We use these technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, and maintain security.

2. Cookies we use

  • Essential: session authentication, CSRF protection, and load balancing required for login, dashboard, and checkout.
  • Functional: remembered UI preferences and locally stored API key/session tokens when you choose to stay signed in on your device.
  • Analytics: when enabled in production, we use Plausible Analytics, a cookie-free, privacy-first analytics tool that reports aggregated page-view metrics without tracking individuals or setting cookies. It is disabled in local development.
  • Payment: Stripe may set cookies during Checkout and Customer Portal flows.

3. Local storage

The Ozma dashboard stores your session token and API key prefix in browser local storage when you sign up or log in. This keeps you authenticated between visits. Clear site data in your browser to remove these values.

4. Third-party cookies

Stripe, Cloudflare, and other subprocessors may set cookies when you interact with their embedded flows or when their services protect our site. We do not control third-party cookie policies directly.

5. Your choices

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, checkout, or dashboard functionality. Where required by law, we will obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies.
