Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all users of Ozma, including consumers, agents, and API providers. Violations may result in suspension or termination under our Terms of Service.

1. Permitted use

Use Ozma to discover, proxy, and meter API calls for lawful applications including software development, research, automation, and agent workflows — subject to upstream API license terms and your account limits.

2. Prohibited conduct

  • Illegal activity or facilitation of harm, fraud, or harassment
  • Abuse of signup, referral, or promotional credit programs
  • Circumventing rate limits, billing, key budgets, or access controls
  • Credential stuffing, scraping login flows, or automated account creation at scale
  • Reselling or sublicensing Ozma access in violation of upstream terms
  • Attacking Ozma infrastructure, other users, or upstream providers (DDoS, probing, exploitation)
  • Uploading malware or attempting to compromise the gateway or MCP server
  • Misrepresenting identity, API capabilities, or pricing metadata (providers)
  • Processing personal data without lawful basis or required notices
  • Using Ozma to build a competing marketplace by systematically copying listings

3. API-specific restrictions

Each upstream API may impose additional restrictions (attribution, caching, commercial use, geographic limits). When providers supply terms for an API, those terms appear on the API listing and terms page. Using an API with required acceptance needs assent from your organization's owner or admin before gateway calls proceed. You are responsible for complying with provider and upstream terms applicable to each API you use.

4. Agent & automation use

Agents and autonomous systems must respect key budgets, daily caps, and spend alerts configured on your account. Do not deploy agents that run unbounded spend without human oversight or billing safeguards.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, throttle or block requests, revoke keys, suspend accounts, withhold payouts, and cooperate with law enforcement where required. We may update this AUP with notice on this page.

6. Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse to support@ozma.app with relevant logs, timestamps, and account identifiers.
